For Our Team, the time spent with Aboriginal people and being on their lands has enabled each with valuable experiences and insights continually used within the business and legal world.  Community development and on-ground empowerment for Indigenous people are high priorities for Our Team, priorities which are driven and supported by the work conducted within the firm.

Advice

Due to its unique experience and specialist expertise, the team at Bowden McCormack are able to provide general and, where required, specific advice regarding interaction between Indigenous / non-Indigenous persons and businesses seeking to enter into commercial arrangements, especially on Indigenous land.

This is an area which is becoming increasingly important, particularly with Indigenous people searching for ways to become more involved in their own economic development.

Training

Dominic McCormack, a fluent speaker of the language of Murrinhpatha, provides Cross-cultural Awareness Courses for both the public and private sector. These can be tailored to meet your needs as to time, content and regularity. Courses are held at a location suitable to your workplace and staff requirements.
